Greenshank YL LY was ringed on 24th August 2002 as an adult bird at Thorney Island, Chichester Harbour. It was re-trapped and radio tagged on 6th August 2006, also at Thorney Island.
This bird provided our first ever recording of a UK ringed greenshank from Sweden, where it was sighted on 28 April 2006 at Hagersten.
