Greenshank YL GY was colour ringed on Thorney Island on 24 August 2002. It ws ringed as a moulting adult and has been resighted on 21 August 2004 and retrapped there on 29 August 2004.
On 5 August 2005, YL GY was sighted in Engelsmanplaat, in the Dutch Waddesea, and a report sent to Pete Potts at Farlington Ringing Group by email.
